The rules of the paintball vary and are designed to ensure the safety of the players. In a Paintball game generally two opposing teams are involved who try to eliminate the players of the opposing team by hitting them with the pellet. The game can also be won by attaining some other objective like eliminating a specific player or retrieving a flag or some other accomplishment.

The paintball gear varies according to the style of paint balling and also on the skill level of the players. However some of the equipment that is mandatory is a mask, paintballs, and a complete paintball marker. Paintball games can be played on commercial locations as well as on private lands. One big difference between the two is that in commercial fields the safety levels are higher and well monitored in comparison to the private fields.
