With each is given the reason why the spa is the one of the best and what it best caters for including the cost for the treatments offered.

Constance Lémuria Resort which is renowned for a variety of spa protocols, is listed for its use of local ingredients in treatments at the extensive Shiseido spa.

Next, Maia Spa, which is listed as best for yoga and meditation, comes highly recommended because of the dense tropical foliage surrounding the spa. Furthermore, Maia Spa consists of three pavilions each with treatment areas, private garden, bathing and changing areas.

Best for escapism, Sainte Anne Spa by Clarins, boasts both hammam and sauna areas, eight treatment rooms, a yoga room and a balneotherapy room surrounding a Japanese-style slate pool. The Ste Anne Spa is also surrounded by tropical gardens.

For Thai treatments, Banyan Tree Spa is listed as the best as the therapists are trained at the Banyan Tree Spa Academy taking 300 hours to learn the treatments, Asian traditions and hospitality.
