I have heard that if I publish my articles in more than one place - Google automatically downgrades my results. Is this true?
Not true.
At least 30% of your website contents should be original, but the rest 70% may and should be republished material. We do recommend to change the article title on every directory - so that you get a better chance of capturing more search engine results.
